Since 1953, LOFT Community Services (LOFT) has offered dignity and hope to individuals with complex challenges. They are one of the largest community service providers in Ontario, supporting people facing a combination of mental health, behavioural and physical health challenges, addiction issues, poverty, and/or homelessness. Taking a Recovery-Based approach, LOFT builds services that address a person’s needs and offer them for as long as they’re needed. LOFT prides itself on creating high quality services that foster hope and independence.

 

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead LOFT as it continues its rapid trajectory of growth and success. They will support philanthropic activities, government relations and accountability and collaborate closely with the Board of Directors to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission and goals. A passionate champion, the CEO is a hands-on leader, equally comfortable navigating high-level strategy and being a systems leader and serving as a highly valued community partner, building and maintaining meaningful, long-term relationships with staff, clients, and external stakeholders. As a dedicated spokesperson and advocate for the community services sector, they will elevate the organization’s impact, championing the importance of housing, and critical community mental health, addiction and behavioural health supports while advancing the mission to create lasting, positive change for those LOFT serves and supports. 

 

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong strategic vision, a strong communicator who is capable of navigating growth while maintaining exceptional service delivery. You excel in collaboration, valuing and building partnerships across all levels of the organization and with key external stakeholders. With a broad understanding of organizational operations, you are adaptable and able to pivot across various areas of accountability, from finance and operations, to mergers and acquisitions. You bring expertise in donor stewardship, government relations and stakeholder relations, while ensuring the organization's sustainability and impact.
