Supply Ontario is a new provincial agency with an ambitious mandate to transform and modernize the province’s public sector supply chain management system. Their vision is to build world-class capability that harnesses Ontario’s buying power to enable economic development, province-wide resilience, and value for Ontarians.

 

Supply Ontario is currently establishing their initial operations, building their foundational infrastructure, and planning for how the agency can best provide services. As the procurement commercial face for government, Supply Ontario works across the system to build an integrated, efficient, and strategic supply chain that benefits the economy, businesses, customers, and Ontarians.

 

Reporting to the Chief Digital and Data Officer, the Director, Digital will be responsible for the evolution of Supply Ontario’s digital ecosystem to transform and accelerate Supply Ontario’s business capabilities.

 

This person will bring a highly strategic mindset and will most likely come from a very large, complex environment. They will make use of a track record of digital solution design and development, cloud-based SaaS and associated tools to shape and deliver on a world-class digital strategy aligned with Supply Ontario’s priorities.

 

This candidate will bring an ability to build effective and influential relationships with key senior stakeholders and to facilitate the implementation and enablement of digital capabilities and transformation. Knowledge of current and emerging technologies for digital environments will be essential as will strong political and business acumen to manage complex issues and communicate with a broad audience.
