Southridge is a K-12 independent day school situated in South Surrey, BC. The beautiful 17-acre campus offers separate Junior and Senior School buildings with over 100,000 square feet of first-class school facilities. Southridge has approximately 130 faculty and staff, and 680 students – 360 in the Senior School and 320 in the Junior School. The curriculum provides opportunities for authentic, experiential learning and the School’s programs and culture foster the development of moral character, leadership, and skills that enable its students to realize their full potential.

The Director of Advancement and Community Relations is a senior team member responsible for leading the School’s fundraising and volunteering and alumni relations efforts. Building relationships with all constituents and enhancing philanthropic engagement are core to the role. The Director oversees campaigns/programs, major gifts, planned giving, and all related fundraising events.

The ideal candidate will be an engaging leader with in-depth knowledge of fundraising and alumni relations best practices. They will bring demonstrated success in all aspects of fund development, campaign management, event planning, and fostering community relations. With excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, they will demonstrate the ability to inspire trust and confidence among staff, donors, alumni, and community partners.

Southridge School has partnered with the leadership advisory firm Odgers Berndtson to support this search. The salary range for this position is $145,000 to $165,000 per year.
