Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Technology & Transformation Officer (CTO) will act as a catalyst, leading GGC’s digital transformation and driving technological change, leveraging contemporary technology solutions and delivery models, while maintaining a stable, robust, and secure IT environment underpinning core organizational processes. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CTO will collaborate closely with the CEO, senior management team, and Board of Directors to understand the organization's digital transformation needs and strategic objectives outlined in their strategic plan. As the CTO, your responsibilities will include developing a comprehensive digital strategy and transformation roadmap, engaging with consultants, staff, volunteers, and stakeholders to optimize business processes, and effectively leading digital transformation initiatives to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in mentoring and providing strategic oversight to both the IT team and transformation team members leading the execution of annual business transformation goals in alignment with the overarching vision and mission.

 

As an ideal candidate, you are a seasoned team and values-based leader who will foster a culture of innovation and digital transformation, while ensuring the client experience and a data-driven approach are always top of mind. An experienced leader, influencer, and relationship builder, you possess exceptional communication skills and success in B2C product development and user experience enhancement. You will set an example for a talented and diverse team, meeting the technology needs of various business areas to ensure the right combination of people, process and technology are used with digital initiatives and value/benefits are realized for stakeholders. The role requires progressive managerial experience in the day-to-day operation of a centrally managed information technology function. Preferably, you bring previous experience focused on the needs of a large non-profit or other large and complex organization. Fluency in English is required, and French proficiency is an asset. GGC offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid arrangement or remote with access to Toronto monthly. The CTO role will be a term contract with the opportunity to renew. The hiring zone for the role is $139,431 to $156,860; full compensation range is $139,431.00 to $174,289.00.
