iGaming Ontario - President and CEO
Greater Toronto
iGaming Ontario leads the Province of Ontario’s new, dynamic, internet gaming (igaming) market, which is one of North America’s most competitive; offering consumers over 30 sportsbooks, 50 casinos, and the continent’s largest peer-to-peer poker market. Combined, iGaming Ontario’s operators generate annual gross gaming revenue of over $2 billion, a portion of which is remitted to the Government of Ontario for priorities such as infrastructure. To achieve these results, iGaming Ontario is guided by its vision to lead the world’s best gaming market.
iGaming Ontario is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who will drive the organization’s continued success. The President and CEO will, with the support of a dedicated team, provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight within an ever-changing igaming market. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President and CEO will be responsible for all aspects of the agency’s operations including strategic planning and implementation, business development, business optimization, player relationships, financial and risk management, regulatory and legislative compliance, government relations, operator relationships, and employee management and development. The President and CEO will work with partners including the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to address the illegal market, improve player protections and address barriers to competition and innovation.
The ideal candidate is adept at navigating both the private and public sectors, seamlessly engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including operators, regulators, government, players, and iGaming Ontario’s employees. You are well versed in working with a Board of Directors and have demonstrated operational and financial management skills, political acumen, and utilized modern approaches to technology procurement and adoption.
