Position Overview

With the planned departure of the current CEO at the end of 2025, Greystone Energy Systems is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization through its next phase of development. The CEO will have full P&L responsibility and work closely with the Bemsiq Group’s President & CEO and its global leadership team. This role demands a leader with the ability to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and cultural transformation, while maintaining a strong customer and innovation focus.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategic Planning

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives in alignment with the Bemsiq Group’s objectives.
  • Deliver sustained P&L success, measured through established KPIs and performance milestones.
  • Guide the creation of short- and long-term roadmaps to ensure profitable growth and competitive positioning.
  • Build organizational alignment around key priorities and initiatives.
  • Ensure strong systems, processes, and governance to support effective, data-informed decision-making.

Operational & Financial Leadership

  • Oversee operational excellence, ensuring efficient, compliant, and scalable business practices.
  • Drive financial performance, managing budgets, forecasting, capital investment, and risk.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives across all functions.

People & Culture Leadership

  • Inspire, mentor, and empower a high-performing executive team and broader organization.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and customer-centric culture.
  • Champion employee engagement, professional development, and succession planning.
  • Build a resilient, purpose-driven workplace aligned with the company’s values.

Market & Knowledge Leadership

  • Represent Greystone within the Bemsiq Group and across the global industry.
  • Monitor and interpret market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategy.
  • Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships and international business relationships.
  • Support both organic and acquisition-based growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven experience in manufacturing or related sectors; HVAC or building automation experience is an asset.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to pivot between high-level vision and execution.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to deliver shareholder value.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience leading through business transformation and cultural change.
  • Strong capabilities in decision-making, problem-solving, and driving results.

Professional Experience

  • Senior leadership experience as a CEO, President, General Manager, or C-level executive with P&L responsibility.
  • Experience leading in international, growth-oriented environments.
  • Track record in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and build high-performance organizations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced qualifications are considered an asset.
