Vice President, Information Technology - Confidential Client

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President, Information Technology will develop, execute and continuously improve Information Technology strategies to support the business’ goals and vision. The role holder will provide strategic leadership that encourages progressive, innovative thinking in all aspects of the IT function. The successful candidate will have the ability to build collaborative relationships and be a high-level strategic thinker capable of partnering with the Company’s senior leaders.
The VP IT will foster a culture of high performance and collaboration, building trusted long-term relationships with all organizational levels and gain buy-in from key internal and external stakeholders. They will be adept at navigating process improvement and operational management in a multi-site and growth context and act as a trusted and key advisor to the CEO, CFO and executive business partners.
Key Priorities:
- Ensure the successful stabilization of the Microsoft D365 F&O ERP system while improving costing visibility and system usability for business users.
- Review and revise the IT strategy with a pragmatic, execution-focused approach —favour practical, scalable solutions. Align IT with business needs, emphasizing speed, flexibility, and entrepreneurial thinking.
- Partner with the Director of BI to increase utilization and impact of Power BI ensuring data projects are delivering actionable insights for the business.
- Conduct a comprehensive IT system and license audit to identify cost savings and eliminate underused software or tools.
- Lead a risk-based cybersecurity assessment and create a scaled security posture appropriate for the organization.
- Develop and implement an IT integration playbook to streamline future acquisitions, consolidations, or platform integrations.

As the company continues to grow organically and through acquisition, experience with M&A transactions and integration work would be ideal. Experience in a publicly traded environment will also be considered an asset.
