A member of the College’s senior leadership team, The Associate Vice President, Marketing provides leadership, strategic, and operational planning for the College’s marketing activities. The Associate Vice President of Marketing manages the College’s brand and has overall responsibility for the planning, development and implementation of media, advocacy, special community events, including convocation, and other creative marketing opportunities to advance the College’s strategic direction. The incumbent Supports management, schools and departments through public relations training, counsel, advice and support. Develops strategic branding and positioning for organizational reports, speeches, presentations, articles and associated communications on behalf of the President’s Office and oversees the planning and execution of Conestoga’s marketing activities targeted to both internal and external audiences, including fundraising and advancement initiatives, corporate reports and publications, internal communications, social/digital media and the corporate website to ensure alignment with organizational mission, vision and values.

The ideal candidate collaborates with a team-focused approach and will mentor, support, and develop their marketing team members. With superior communications skills and interpersonal skills – oral, written, editing, and presentation – you are hands-on, lead by example, and value the importance of working closely with all stakeholders across the college. With progressive leadership experience, you are a business partner first with deep marketing expertise gained from senior management roles within complex multistakeholder environments. A champion for the brand, you will leverage business acumen and digital and brand skills to contribute to Conestoga's leadership and continued growth and success that values - Student Focus, Collaboration, Accountability, Inclusiveness, and Innovation.
