As the digital landscape continues to evolve, TECHNATION plays a critical role in influencing public policy, fostering collaboration between industry and government, and advancing Canada’s position as a global technology leader.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be a dynamic and influential leader, responsible for guiding TECHNATION’s strategic vision, expanding its influence with policymakers, and deepening engagement with its membership and partners. Serving as the public face of the organization, the CEO will represent the interests of Canada’s ICT ecosystem on both the national and global stage, advocating for policies and initiatives that foster innovation, competitiveness, and digital trust. The CEO will inspire collaboration across industry, government, and the public, strengthening Canada’s position as a global leader in digital transformation and technology adoption.

The ideal candidate is a visionary and strategic leader with a proven track record of success in member-based organizations or complex, stakeholder-driven environments. Politically astute and highly influential, the candidate is skilled at advocating for industry interests, shaping public policy, and building strong relationships with government, industry leaders, and strategic partners. Equipped with deep knowledge of Canada’s technology and innovation landscape, the candidate is comfortable navigating complex and evolving issues such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and future workforce development. An exceptional communicator and collaborator, this individual pairs strategic vision with operational excellence, inspiring teams and stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes that advance both organizational and industry success. Bilingualism in English and French will be considered a strong asset.
