Invest Ontario is seeking a Vice President, Investment Structuring who will work with other members of the leadership team to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to the development of Invest Ontario’s investment attraction/business retention and expansion strategies. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President will be responsible for helping to land strategic investments. A key member of the leadership team, the Vice President will participate in the development of Invest Ontario’s business strategy and structures strategic opportunities to deliver an outstanding client experience for prospective investors.

 

The ideal candidate will bring: 

§ 10+ years of expertise in evaluating, structuring, negotiating, and advising on complex transactions.

§ Demonstrated senior leadership experience with knowledge of private sector business operations and business development processes.

§ A deep understanding of Ontario’s competitive advantages for investment attraction, and the ability to translate them into sector-specific, customized pitches to attract potential investors.

§ An innovative mindset with an ability to link the evolving needs of a potential investor with the suite of tools and programs available to Invest Ontario.
